The back end does look nice. I still have a difficult time with the front end styling on all the newer Porsches and the fact they all look the same which gives them all a very blended boring look. But I'm probably the only one that feels this way. _________________ 1981 931 (Canadian car)

I think that Porsche might have to decide between this and the Boxter - and the Boxter will probably win - if the 921 has a 200 hp mill as the article suggests, it would have to handle like the 924/944 family and still be affordable. If it doesn't handle, don't build it. I found this quote from one of the links interesting:
"The 924/944/968 family of cars was one of Porsche's most successful sales forces for almost two decades. Legend has it that Porsche engineering employees tended to gravitate toward the 944 when choosing their company car, as it offered more precise handling and better weight distribution than that of the 911."
I still like the my 924 ..... |

No you're not. They indeed look boring. This 921 looks massive and full of testosterone but in the same time it looks quite heavy and dull. Big tractor wheels? Long time ago Porsche produced elegant, lightweight sports cars but today... It is sad. _________________ Mikko

hold on, this is not a porsche sketch this is just a freelancing designer's day dream.
Anyway it looks too pumped up...everything today is just pumped up...where is the elegance? _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

well that thing is gorgeous but as the article suggests that it might not be available in a regular H pattern manual transmission then they can keep it...
that's appalling, like the panamera (last I knew) not being able to get a standard transmission.... not for me _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

Although I prefer standard transmissions over automatics (or whatever they want to call it nowadays), I'm not the target demographic, as I'll never be purchasing a new car.
We can gripe all we want, but until you are ready to buy new, your opinion doesn't count as to the options on a new car.
I know it sucks, but that's the way it is. _________________ 78 924 NA
