You all know my problem with a cracked gearbox.I manage to rebuilt my gearbox so I am back on the road now. Here in Europe we have a lot of Audi 100 and on a model is a gearbox stamped "3V".The tip is that all the pinions, rack and forks are the same with my o16K gearbox so I can make the swaps between the racks and pinions and there is no funny noise or vibrations.I think on audi 5000 is the same gearbox, because this is a "long" one for your highways.
