| I have a 1977.5 na 924. It has a fuel filter between tank and fuel pump. Is this stock or was it added? Parts house says there shouldn't be one there, is this true? Should I replace or remove it, Im changing my filters and found this one. |

My '77 had a small right angle filter before the pump. It is a filter/ strainer to keep large chunks out of the pump. I couldn't find a new one so just reversed flushed it with solvent.
Being that is 1/2" or 12mm pipe we couldn't find anything in the parts book at FLAPS the even came close. I didn't try Porsche. _________________ Mike

Tried to get one from Porsche in UK for my Martini, and was told they are no longer available. Gave mine a good blast with the air line. _________________ 1984 n/a Ruby Red Metallic
