Since I pulled her out of the garage this spring, I did:
-4 wheel alignment
-installed O2 sensor for my wide band A/F ratio
-convert to S2 Throttle body
-installed a new fuel level sending unit
-installed second tail light bulb
-leak/smoke test
-fix the rear exhaust

Once I'm confident that everything run well, I will raise the boost from 10 to 12lbs.

Claude, I missed your photos earlier. The car looks amazing! So nice to see projects coming to fruition!!!

With my new job, I won't have much opportunity to get to Ottawa any more, but man, wish we could get on some back country roads with a couple of the cars...would be so nice to do some comparisons. Let me know if you are ever able to consider a road trip to the Chicago area, we'd be happy to host you here!

2016 spring update

After spending/wasting the summer and fall last year fighting fuel delivery issue and low voltage, I pulled the engine out and ordered loads of parts. Here’s a list of what has been done since last fall:
-rebuilt WUR by CIS Flowtech
-new high output alternator from Ideola’s garage
-new fuel filter
-new spark plugs
-new fuel pump
-new fuel accumulator
-new 944 in-tank fuel strainer
-send the fuel tank for cleaning (was full of crap)
-completed S2 intake conversion

After all that she still run like sh!t, cutting off as soon as I start building boost; then I unplug the over-boost switch and ground the wire and then...she went like hell. Currently running 10lbs of boost, about 11 AFR at WOT.

The bad news, during all that work, I broke my windshield and my fibreglass hood in three pieces (please don’t ask..). On the + side, I will upgrade to 944 style flush windshield and I have fibreglass resin and cloth at home so I will be able to fix the hood.

Also, I pick up a great bolt in GTS style roll cage (with long bar reaching at the back) during the winter at a very good price. It will get strip and repaint flat black during the summer.

I start working on the inside, insulate using EZ cool and re-carpeting using lightweight generic stuff. It’s far from perfect, but much better than the old stuff. I also installed a Rennline dead pedal.

Installed the 935/937 boost controller, relocated it in front of the shifter and increase the boost from 10 to 12 lbs. I have the same problem than other members; running too low Air/Fuel ratio under boost, so I will have to look into this.

I also modified the roll cage into a roll bare, deleting everything forward of the main hoop, painted it flat black and installed it. I love the look of the two long harms reaching the back of the car with the diagonal in between.

Next on the list, finish inside re-carpeting, transmission flange seals and brake.

Spring tune up:
-oil brake change
-install stainless steel brake lines
-engine oil + oil filter change
-coolant flush
-re-install battery

Pulled here out of the garage, start here up and went out for the first drive of the season. Woohoo!
