from my farmer day, I can tell you its not Temic. That stuff is horrifically poisonous... I wouldnt go near the fields for 2 days after that stuff went down.
The farm workers used to walk there without their shoes on, and I would throw a wobbly over it. Fekk they could have got very badly poisoned, like "bleu"...dead.
Well, at least it doesnt lurk in the food chain....

hey joe do you have any dead rodents in the car to go with your fine collection of rat poison? If you do, you should remove them dead rodent = weight therefore dead rodents are bad. By chance can you think of anyone who may be trying to kill you? Seems like a slow death but hey what ever works. Does your girlfriend have a life insurance policy on you? just checking

Joe - When you bought the car, was this stuff sprinkled around the inside of the car? If it was, and the PO put it there, you can be pretty sure he also put it into the vent. If it is rat poison, it's time to notify the authorities and track that clown down...

I doubt that rat poison would be put in to air tubes. But dehumidifier crystals would be, if some misguided person wished to clear a foggy windshield.

Dehumidifier crystals are something different. If that's what's in your vent hose, there should be some water in there and some dissolved crystals. I don't know what D-con rat pellets look like, but I've seen dehumidifier crystals and they don't look like those pellets in your picture. I've also seen silica gel dessicant and they're little round semi-transparent dudes. I would still seriously consider the possibility that those could be rat pellets and get them checked out - at least get some D-con from wherever and do a side by side comparison. After you determine for sure what it is and if necessary, the authorities are done looking at it, clean and rinse out the vent hose real good.
