|
|
Hi, I'm wondering where the relay for the high/low beam on the left side is located. It isn't amongst the fuses as all the other relays.
The reason I'm asking is because the high beam on the left isn't working, while the right one does.

There is no relay for the headlights on the later model cars. It was replaced with a jumper in the relay holder. If you can't find a blown fuse, it's possible you have a burned pin on the fuse block. Do a search and you should find a write up I did on the subject... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Each headlamp operation has a separate fuse, ie., dip and main, left and right, 4 fuses. _________________ 1984 n/a Ruby Red Metallic

I figured out that the problem lies within the fuse block and It seems like the pin is broken inside. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to by a new fuse block?
(Thanks for the write up Ideola, it helped alot ) _________________ 924 -81 "The Frogmobile"

Nevermind. I opened the fusebox, soldered the broken pins back and taped the fusebox back together. Not the prettiest sight perhaps, but the headlights are now working.
Great sucess! _________________ 924 -81 "The Frogmobile"
