These were my choice for seats ..... they came with belts too.

Of course I found a quicke release steering wheel and hub to acompany them.

That along with custom door panels and center console ....

BTW, those seat belts are not only illegal for the street (unless they are Schroth DOT legal 4-points), they are not legal for the track. Not worth the investment.

Don't mean to harsh your buzz, but didn't want you to get caught out if you get pulled over or if you take it to the track.

Never thought of dot approval.. I dont see any issue with street use whos gonna be checking. They look well built enough in the pics. ..Suppose I could call pal-performance and inquire bout them, right.

Not bad i was wondering what i was going to get ,,its stylishly rugged
Im ready for the range. Has a pushbutton release then you twist it off.
Putting it back on you have to make sure its seated then twist to
lock it in.

Joes924Racer is back! Welcome home, buddy. It's been a while. And now I'm three sheets to the wind, it all makes perfect sense. Not quite Broncos colours on them belts, still...

Merry Christmas, Joes924Racer!

The shoulder straps need to be mounted properly and without a harness bar or a cage, there's nothing to mount them to that won't promote spinal compression in an accident.

Granted, with the lack of a submarine belt it isn't as unsafe as a full 5/6-point harness.

Without a DOT tag they aren't technically legal for the street and yes, the police can check for this if they want to be jerks about it.

Ultimately, the chances are that he'd be fine and never have an issue, but a tech worker wouldn't let him on the track like that due to potential insurance and safety issues. If they aren't useful for the track, what's the point of having them?
