Thank you Mike. Now I asked Dan some years ago, but can you get the Clubsport on the dyno as I'd love to see some data on that cars motor + mods

Thanks Peter. The yellow CGT will have fresh running gear, don't need to take anything from the red/white turbo. The area of consideration right now is whether to put a rebuilt motor in the CGT or take it out of the turbo? Time and money wise, borrowing the turbo motor would be easier. But a lot of jobs to be done on the CGT first before I worry more on the motor option

Steve.....I gathered (maybe mistakenly) that the motor in the red/white was NOT the original to that car, and that you in fact had the numbers matching motor for that car tucked away.
Numbers matching should ideally remain with the car......if you are considering long term value.

I remember you asking and I promise I will get it done. There is one by my house that a good friend has used.

About 270chp @ a bit over 1.1 bar with morghens old k27?
That’s only about 16psi.. Nice numbers..

Thought you ran about 1.4 though? Didn’t want to dyno that high?

Also he never dynoed past 6000RPM, so if he'd do a 6600RPM he'd get a bit "more numbers'
Part of the reason is that Steve is running the car in a local event and there is a group limit of 280hp which he wants to stay under.

Averagely I have been running give or take 1.1bar for quite a while. I have ran more but its been a little det prone and too lean at the top end. Main issue for not running more is the Mittelmotor dizzy. I used to have an early 'race' version with a 2bar sensor, so I could pull timing over 1bar. Long story short, I now have the latest Bluetooth version of the dizzy but it only has a 1bar sensor, so cannot pull timing over 1bar anymore. So dyno'd at 1.1 and left the timing as advanced as possible, which it responded well to. Its now running 25deg at full rpm + full boost.

True

If I ran over 6000rpm it does nothing to the results under that rpm ......but it does add to a bigger 'Top Trumps' bhp number above. Nice for the bar room bragging rights, but I shift before 6000 anyway, torques are dropping away.

You must be disappointed. I understand that 300 HP with CIS is "relatively easy."

Maybe you should fly Fasteddie over to the UK for a consultation?

Oh damn.. Rasta is still mad at me..

What’s the max you ever got out of your 931 Rasta? Wasn’t it like 13psi?

A US 931 fuel distributor will spray about 325HP worth of fuel.. I measured it..
Mine will spray like 600-700..

I have no doubt CRSR could hit 300 crank on his setup if he tried..

Less talk, more dyno, Skippy.

Great looking dash, by the way.

It hink its been pretty well proven by mr Eddie that his set-up can provide fuelling for alot of boost. He already provided logs before, so it has all been proven already. Bu it's not nearly a stock or stockish cis setup like steeves, but still cis. We are just waiting for him to find a larger turbo

I will hopefully get my car back on the dyno this year to see what i can get out of my fully stock cis euro system. I Expect around 245hp.
