I´ve got the program but it doesn´t connect to the unit.
Wasn´t the 931 map a plain flat 3bar across the range? And later they did lean the lower and mid slightly? I would like a fatter top and warm-up as well. _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

If the program is not seeing the controller, you may need an updated driver for the USB serial port emulator. They have it on the Unwired Tools website.
And, on the wiring, we are both saying the same thing. I connected the white wire to the pulsed side of the coil, which is the one with the green tach wire coming off of it.

ideola wrote: | Thanks Rasta. RE: the brake setup, I have 968 running gear for the club sport project, and am debating about my plumbing, so it's helpful to know that you found the 931 master cylinder and X-split to be acceptable with the brembo calipers. |
CAVEAT: 86 951 fronts are 36 & 38 mm. 968 fronts are 36 & 40 mm, M030 968 fronts are 36 & 44 mm. Might make a difference in pedal. Might not. I expect you'll let us know.
MORE IMPRESSIONS: These brakes are f'in sweet. . .well worth the hassle. Smooth, smooth, smooth and STRONG. . .I have been taxing them more and more as Shaggy's rev limits are relaxed!
God, Shaggy sounds good. That cam! What a growl!
