Time: 8:06:29 PMThe best thing to do is retro-fit the 944 torque tube and clutch assembly. I'm not sure how much work there is to this, because I don't mess with 924NA very much.
The 924 torque probably won't hold up to the extra torque the 944 engine puts out. You can make a coupler that will work on the shaft sizes on the transaxle end. You can do a 944 tube with a 924 4 speed for example. I've seen it done.
Depending on where you live I can probably find you the clutch assembly with hydralics and torque tube.
