I know not another one of these questions. Has anybody looked at or fitted a volvo s70 5 cylinder engine to the 924 bell housing. I don't need it to fit into the car it is for a special.
Many thanks in advance |

I would be interested in this too. I have a Volvo S70, and the engine surprising can move 4000# pretty quickly (170hp) the T5's are 240hp stock. Very reliable engines. _________________ White 1987 Porsche 924S manual |

If you can make a drawing of the engine bell housing and one of the 924's then you can put it a CAD program and then overlay them to get an idea what kind of adapter you need to create to mate the two.
From there, its a matter of building a flywheel to mate the engine to the TT/transaxle and the starter. _________________ Stefan

Our Lemons car is an 850 wagon (similar to V70) - we just put a new engine in it, after killing it back in June.
Does it matter that the engine was designed as front-wheel drive powerplant? _________________ 1987 Porsche 924S - track toy
