I didn't realise that ECU's were being donated free to this project. What results have been proven thus far? |

I just read this thread...
Sorry to hear that stupid indictment from michal928. Did I understand correctly he think I have 931 DITC installed in my 924 N/A engine and it's working properly? I don't think it's possible to do that, without major changes made in car which I can't do... I don't have enought money to fix my car so fast. He's angry with me becouse he think i can give him all my work just like that, before I can put it anywhere. Maybe he have to much money to have 931, 928 and who knows what else. Sorry I'm not like this crazy rich boy which thinks he can do everything.
I just saw he speak really bad about me everywhere when he can do that. It strange only him thinks so bad about me.
And I don't want to delete anything from that thread- it's nonsense!!
I made it for all of people here! And if someone can still send me details photo from 937 DITC I will make a list and update DITC board (if it have any changes?) and show it here.
Another thing... Yes I made few center caps for fuchs and cookie cutters in my work using CNC Router and few other things I have to know. And I don't steal anybody idea - I made this and present in public as first so what i can do when somebody had that idea before and didn't show anything?
I want to show my work here but one of guys told me about "illegal" side of this project and about lawyers sent by Porsche which logo I used to make copy of center caps for my cookie cutters.
Currently I'm out of Poland becouse I got work which need from me to be almost one year of studies in foreign country. So I can't make any big progress at this time. I just finished completed PCB board which could be used to made copy od DITC. And my 931(body) with 924 N/A engine is under my wife protection in Poland, and She take care of it unitl I back.
When I back to home I show you all progress of this DITC PCB and full shematic I made by myself. It's more complicated than I tought and take much more time... I had to get to know few complicated electronics programs to made it on PC.
I post what I made when I get back to home and have enought time to do this now I can't. _________________ 931 82' - 5000km after full engine rebuild

I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. I've had dealings with both McGyver and michal928 and have no complaints with either. Personally, I am impressed with the progress made to date. To put it into perspective, everybody has to look out for themselves and their family first, so McGyver, you're doing the right thing as far as I can tell. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

The results you can see in this topic. It is only MGuyver work - not mine. I do not have any other materials. We was friends to the moment of this unpleasant fact. I never got the promised bad computer from Nein - McGuyver take both. I did not have to work on what. So i was forced to trace His work and I can not do anything.
McGuyver in our forum (924.pl) is regarded as strange person. One day He sale His car, another not - and he told so he like to do a noise.
In winter I will need to buy a Ditc to do my own project. I want to know how 931 computer work to build a car in my own setup. |

I think an update every so often on the message board under this topic, whether some progress or no progress is made due to other responsibilities, would be a great idea. Look forward to the project moving toward completion whether slow or fast. _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

michal928, I dont think anything is a good enough reason to fight with McGyver and put on bad words against eachother on the board.
Do you want to do research on the DITC? lets see how we can get a DITC for you to work on...i dont think they are so difficult to find...especially in a damaged state.
i'll put an add on a german board..maybe i get something. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

I will try to avoid the topic of McGuyver. Morghen - you are right - cheaper and stressless will be to buy another computer. I will be waiting for end of this project which i hope will have concrete information soon. |

It took long time but finally I've got proper DITC to work with. I found one 937 DITC for sale in UK so I took it to make some research.
Inside it wasn't what I expect. I found some differences between german 931 DITC... I have to upgrade component list and add 937 DITC there.
With that list we can change maps from 931 to 937 in simple upgrade... DITC needs just a few component changes.
If there's someone who got 937 DITC and could make another photos for me... that will be great. Don't worry it's really hard to damage it just by hands
Few photos... what we can find inside 937 DITC

Nice find !
I am amazed by the 937's DITC's that a few of us got. Where there so many separately sold are are these all from dismantled GT’s ?
I have got one from the UK, and I can buy another one in Germany (but very expensive @ € 750)
Morghen has got one form Germany
McGyver has got one form the UK _________________ 937 trackday car

Great news! Glad to hear that you still working on the project. The components that differ from the 931 board and the result of these changes are very interesting. What´s missing or your board since you are requesting other pictures? _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

Actually nothing is missing. DITC is in perfect working condition and I have warranty for it. I expect some added small board or something like that so If someone got pics of 937 DITC to confirm what is inside it.. that will be great. I found few differences between German 931 DITC and that I've got... I'll post it later so I have to check everything to make sure I didn't miss something.
I also trying to get some good software to simulate logic gates in DITC configuration... but it's a lot of work and it's easy to miss some connections between gates.
12.11.2010 - UPDATED LIST of Elements used in DITC.. this time with most proper values. Previous list had few mistakes... this need be updated too but is much more accurate (I have to change resistor values to proper E(6-4 range.):

Anyone else seen a CGT DITC with extra board like this one? There are whole lot of green wires snaking all over the board to the little one. I unfortunately don't remember what website I pulled this from.
