John..what is the switch for? It looks like a main power switch. They use that style in a lot of marine applications.
Is this your theft deterrent system?

Does that pass muster at your track? I was under the impression the battery cutoff had to be in an easy to see exterior location...but maybe each track has their own regs? _________________ ideola's garage

Bridge spoiler? do you mean the 968 style? That's what I have and I love that look! |
Yup, that's it. Can't wait to see more pics!

i still think the car looks better without the rocker pannels...or with normal 944 ones.
why? well i just love the 911 WIDE ass and the wide body you have will match that 911-ness...but those evazated side skirts take away from the visual gains the wide rear arches offer.
Its quite simple actually...ask a child or any person which car is wider and show them your car with and without the side skirts....and thats what you are shooting for with the wide body kit...wideness
If you need sideskirts to hide the exhaust try something that goes a bit more like the originals..just lower.
I prommise this is the last time i'm bitching about it  _________________ 924 Carrera 1.0bar == grin factor. 10/10;

Wow you had them delete the sunroof opening! That is going to be a big job to finish properly. _________________ 1976 924

I feel ya on this one. The side skirts are surving a purpose too though. They are hiding the exhaust a little bit because it is pretty low and also I need something to finish off the quarter panel because I would, as you said, need at least a 944 side skirt. This was one of the toughest decisions I had to make on this project so far. I have thought about the lack of these side skirts, but also what these side skirts DO help for is visually giving the car a lower stance.

Yeah, DELETED! They said they wish they had more done yesterday but I wasn't worried about being a project "In The Works" (which just so happens to be the auto body shop's name that I brought my car to) _________________ Minneapolis British Sports Car Restoration | v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps - BMC British Automobile

btw - John at In The Works will also be modifying those side skirts a little as well. The idea we came up with was, of course, lose that ridge on the top part of the skirt and that will bring the skirt in a little. Then at the rear quarter panel it will be cut straight down and re-fiberglassed ever so slightly as to come OUT with the panel, sticking along the same lines as the car. I think this might be the best of all worlds
I got to hand it to Dan and John at In The Works. They have been blowing my mind with how creative and good they are! _________________ Minneapolis British Sports Car Restoration | v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps - BMC British Automobile

Im thinking they maybe welded in a piece and ground ot down.. that is a big job, keeping the metal distortion from heat would be an issue would it not.. Jon I wish I could buy a front nose piece from AIR & if I could I would just as well like to get the 924 gt rear flairs though its not happening
right now due to finances & watching where my money goes.
Good luck and lets see some pics soon. _________________ 2003 Toyota Tacoma deluxe cab/ TRD package.

Joe,
Since you have the 944 front end you could just fab up some D-Prod Style rear flares, you seem pretty handy. I think it'd look cool set up like that.
