What are the major differences between the 931 head and the 924 head? I know the 931 head has a combustion chamber, and flows better. What else makes it different?

plugs are mounted on the inlet side of the motor.

Larger valves, the studs for the intake are different, not sure if the studs for the exhaust are different or not, though.

One melts, one doesn't. One is expensive and rare, one is cheap and plentiful.

If you're considering a 931 head on a 924, there's no need and little net benefit.

Yeah, I'm just wondering. I have a habit of coming by rare parts for little money... got a G31 tranny and torque tube for $100 CDN, I just have to go pick it up this weekend...

So the big differences being the chamber, plugs, and valves?

Big difference in costs. The turbo valves alone are $50US each. I of course have a turbo head for sale as well as all the other bits.
