I always get a giggle out of watching these group buys. Someone goes to a lot of trouble to set it up - always for parts which are hard to come by or unavailable or patently cheaper than the grossly inflated factory prices. And yet people quibble about prices!
Has anybody recently checked the price of lifters from the factory, or even the better known suppliers we all seem to use? If you have then you know this is a no-brainer!
Now I know of no one on this forum who is flush with cash, but if you are into your Toofah for the long haul, you will invariably need these puppies sooner rather than later, and as stated before, if I had the cash I would buy the whole bloody lot of them!!
Just my thoughts chaps!

If anyone cares to check prices as PLD suggests you'll see the following:

Autohausaz.com: US$92.30 - each!
Paragon: US$95 - each!
DC Automotive: US$95 - each!

If you can do the math you'll get the picture...

If you think GBP80 is too rich for your blood, then that's fine. If you think a few extra $$'s on top for shipping is too rich, then that's fine too.

There's nothing in this for me at all, except a time-sink. I've previously bought these lifters from Newmans and they are running in my car today. I have a good relationship with Newmans so thought I'd simply share with those who can see the value.

Definitely a great deal. I may still be in for two sets, but it's all a matter of timing...speaking of which, have we set a target date yet? Personally, I'm not in a huge hurry, more time means it's more likely I'll be able to get that 2nd set. Just curious.

I was planning to close it off on Monday 24th, and then start sending out invoices and placing the order - but I'm not in a huge rush either - 24th was just a line in the sand.

Would be great to get to the 25% discount break... nearly there.

If we get to 19, I'll pony up for the 20th set.
