Since we've seemed to finally gathered some momentum on group buys, is anybody interested in resurrecting all the old talk about doing a group buy on the Speedhut custom gauges?
http://www.speedhut.com/15orders_el_detail.asp?auto_number=35&bhcp=1

We would need a minimum of 25 orders to make this work, and I'm sure the 13 listed on the above page are mostly no good now (although I'm one of 'em).

Any interest?

Are these complete gauges, or just gauge faces?

You know, that's a good question, and it's been so long since this has come up for discussion, I can't remember if we clarified that. Joe Danka, you want to dig into that and find out?

If I'm remembering correctly, you send your 3-gauge cluster in and it comes back professionally modified to the scheme of your choice.

Same here.

And if it is a simple stick-on changeover. This means that it is compatible with the gearing & needle deflection of MY KPH speedo. Which IIRC is different to Scorpio`s speedo. Which one do you have Pocketscience?

http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=23292&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

So with there being 3 or more KMH speedos and at least as many different MPH ones, do we need 25 units TOTAL or 25 of EACH?

Perhaps the Yanks can lobby Obama to catch up to the ROW and convert to metric.

I'm pretty sure the variations don't matter, as long as we have 25 participants. However, I don't recall the issue of KPH vs MPH coming up in any of the previous threads. Hopefully we'll be able to get an answer from them early next week.

I'd love to but I can't justify parking my car before the season is over just to get cool gauge faces, now if you guys postponed this till winter when I have my car apart then yeah I'm all for this especially at that price. I'm not going to ask you guys to wait for me though.
