I tried to fit my new stainless Dansk system,

but the downpipe did not fit. It fits the gasket , but the flanges on the pipe is exactly 180 degrees rotated.

Is this monday morning after a heavy Danish weekend, or did the people at Porscheshop did send me the wrong right hand drive pipe after all....

Anybody?

Duncan

Not sure about the RHD question, but I can tell you for sure, that new down pipe would not mount correctly to the NA manifold I have sitting in my parts bin. As you note, the flange is on backwards.

The new one looks right to me - that's if the 2 holes attach to the lower part of the manifold. I have my old manifold and pipes laying on the ground here if you want pics or something...

Of course.

This is a RHD pipe:

Porscheshop is in the UK, right?

They drive on the right side of the road there, right?

You specifically ordered a LHD compatible exhaust, right / wrong?

So, yesterday arrived an original DANSK stainless steel downpipe.
Really, really nice!!! Much better welding than the UK righthanddrive pipe, and it is polished......
