ahh Dan how do i decide if i need oversize or standard? too early to think tolerances

Is your crank out? Have it checked for tolerance. If it's not out, the safest bet would be to get the .25 oversize. I've personally never seen a crank that needed turning, but it does happen. It's a shame to have to turn a crank that would be fine with standard bearings, but if you're not in a position to measure tolerances first, the safe bet is oversize, or order a set of each. I've put you down for standard for now, as by the looks of things, the 30 standard will be spoken for first, but if you change your mind, just let me know and I'll update the list accordingly.

Definitely one set of 0.25mm O/S for me, possibly 2.

Dan or Rasta, can someone confirm that these bearing shells are actually manufactured by King Bearings and made in the USA. Reason being that I have located an Asian source that is bound to be cheaper and of dubious quality.

King is a US company, manufacturing facility is in Israel.

I also corresponded with a Chinese company who wanted to sell them to me for peanuts, but King is a company with a rep in the US, and when I asked the .cn company for stateside references, their english suddenly got real bad.

Hundie a set ain't too bad in my book.

Exactly mate. 100 a set for US bearings no worries, Israel OK, Chinese ............. hmmm ......... rather pay $200 for US, UK, Japanese.

Actually quite a few Chinese agents, resellers or scammers offering them, but only one Cn source that lists they already manufacture them. Other Cn, Indian, S American that "say" they can.

My brother`s a regular to China and my niece reads and speaks the lingo. They all politely tell you what you want to hear but "soorrry dunta underrrstanda eengleesh" when it comes to problems or details. Surprising how they all understand foreign money so well, all want US$.

Prefer to buy from someone who can communicate in the same language from a country where there is certain standards and legal obligations. In most cases you get what you pay for.
