Another question Gents.....can I take my old cam and have it reground to a good street grind for more HP? Second question, does anyone have the valve spring compressor tool for the 924 head? And, would it be possible to let me borrow it for a short time? Thanks Gentlemen. As always, it is great to have access to such a vast wealth of knowledge that we all combined posess.

Yes you should be able to. You can send your cam to Schneider Racing cams and have them re-grind your cam to a profile that suits your other performance upgrades you plan.
Check out my cam profile at my site under my project ... engine

| Just a word of caution. Sometimes a reground cam needs lash adjuster cap on valves or maybe new adjusting screws in followers. Anyone out there able to clear this up? |

porsche used a 470 lift in the 1979 and later models,
465 up to 1979
&408 lift in the early 924s
thats why theres diff.
lash adjusters they all need to be able to set valve lash at .004 intake & .016 exhaust cold set.
