If you ever really need a fifth injector for more fuel, you already have it, it is called the cold start valve.

Yes, I know about the cold start valve ("CSV"). However, using the CSV as a fifth injector is a bad idea because once you initialize the CSV, say by using a pressure activated switch to send current to the CSV to inject more fuel, you are activating the whole circuit that the CSV is tied into. Meaning that the thermo time switch, aux air valve, etc will also be energized by the current sent from the pressure switch. These 924s already have electrical problems, no need to cause more. Using the existing CSV as fifth injector would require the use of some diodes to prevent the current from activating these sensors.
It would be easier to get another CSV and use it a stand-alone unit with a pressure switch.
My intent of posting that Ed, the 914 turbo guy in Excellence magazine, did not need a 5th injector was to show from an individuals actual experience that the CIS flows enough fuel w/o additional enrichment. I read similarly in the Bosch blue book by Probst that stock CIS systems can adequately meter significantly increased volumes of air w/o any necessary modifications. Ed's experiences seem to support this.
