Great. Got that set up. Here's some pics. She's a little rough around the edges but i have plans. Already started taking care of some of the rust areas just to have them coated before rain comes back in Sept/Oct.

Yes it is. I've known Derek for quite a few years, but we only just met in person for the first time when i bought the car from him.

Acquired this very sad 924 a few months ago, It was calling me to fix it.
I will fix it once I understand the electrical issues, and clean out the old fuel system+ gas tank. Ordered a Power Probe to see what I need to do to figure out what is draining my battery that I just put on there.

Key goes in, try and start it, pull key out, dash stays luminated. Can't have that. I'm assuming it's the radio, or fog lights in terms of wiring. The Brake light on the center stays on as does the Battery and Oil, car has oil, I put it in, no foot brakes though, syncs right in.

CIS system seems iffy, but I understand it enough to take it apart and clean it. I am currently thinking about making my own fuse box as the old box seems like at some point it overheated and melted some places, I don't want something bad to happen, and the relays seem so difficult to obtain, and are also quite expensive, using a few 4/5ping relays and pigtails seems like my best bet.

I'm kind of all over the place on this thing, I have already started prepping the fenders, I've cleaned injectors, some fuel line in the rear(leaking) replaced 3 belts, including timing, will have to take it apart again, waiting for a new water pump, couldn't find the AC belt - I also have no idea how it works, through the blower?
(Where R34 tubing and connections?)

I'm also hurting in the wallet department so I'm just trying to tackle one thing at a time now.

Because I know the fuse box has signs of wear and tear, I'm tempted to create my own, and replace the old layout using 4/5pin relays. I used to work on STT's I understand how to wire things.
The DME, Does this have a special connector? - Where does it wire into?
I could in theory just use the same plug for that one.

Alright, still struggling with this thing.
I have sourced the essentials and I plan to do the next step this week.
I have finally installed the new intake manifold.
I have finally got the ZX9 Carbs set up.
I have finally got the carb balancing tool.
I dropped the tank, cleaned it up, ready for reinstall.
I need to lube up the transaxle and axles before I reinstall everything.

The only thing I haven't picked up is fuel line.

My question to anyone who may be able to assist is about the Fuel Injector Ports, I have no intention of going back to the CIS system. Would bonding the Injectors and the "Bucket" give me enough pressure to prevent an air leak, or will the 12mm x 1.5 be the best option with thread locker?

Currently only 1 bucket has minor damage on the top surface, I plan to file it and sand it down to make it as even as possible, if I do get feedback and the nut and bolt thing seems like its the best option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to trying to get her started this week if I get some solid feedback.

That's where I was, coming up on two years ago, when I acquired my '80 931. It's been quite a journey, getting a very neglected car back on the road, and it's not about to become routine since my engine (though running ok) is in dire straights. Anyway, I've learned volumes on the 924, most of it from people here, and got a lot more help than I could ever ask for in advice and parts. I hope it's a great journey for you too!

Was reading all your threads last few days… I’m both frightened and excited!

I do want to document the journey as I have benefitted from others documented resuscitation/renovations on all models that I follow.

It’s going to be a journey!
