I have found plenty of swap kits for the 944 but none for the 924. Does anyone know of a company that builds kits to swap v6s and v8s into 924s? I got this empty 1978 924 that either needs to be parted out or filled with an engine and driven to my new destination. |

I think putting a higher HP motor in a 924 would benefit from a tranny with better gearing for the higher HP. a tranny from 944,968, or 928 could be used , depending on the HP of the engine you'll be using. so the adaptor plate to mount a v6 to the 944 clutch assembly might just be what you need.

Put a V12 in it man!
These V12's will shoehorn into a 924 and there are tons of them at wrecking yards for cheap. Trust me, you can do these for, like, under $1000. They make a 924 faster than a cat with his arse on fire!

Just trying to keep up the spirits here CBass...
You know those 924 engines are rock solid. Have you considered the cost of making a rocket 924 engine? It's a bigger challenge...cheaper, and it ups your eligible resale market share...

Actually, I was thinking about a propane conversion and 2 bars of boost No reason why it can't be done.
A solid rocket powered 924 would be fun, but I think the throttlem might be an issue |

Exactly!
The problem I'd have with installing propane, and I've thought about it, is that you just can't access it easily. Like, where would ya fill up? A trailor park? |
