I have a 1980 924 not turbo, and just picked up an 85 944, can the engine from the 924 go in the 944? PLease advise anyone on this matter, have no idea where to start.

Thanks Happy Porsche Owner Rob

Cross member is different, 944 incorporates motor mounts, 924 does not.

Diameter of the drive shaft in the torque tubes are different between a 924 and 944.
