I searched all morning - it seems like some of the later 924's (mine is an 87 S model) have a mounting bracket, which when removed allows you to mount a 6" round speaker in it's place.
I'm looking to replace the rear 4x6's with a 6" component system, but all I can find is 6.5". Can anyone with more knowledge than me tell me if this size will fit, or if it must be 6" even?
Thanks In Advance. |

| just to follow up, I dug in last night and removed the speakers - I do in fact have a 4x6 space there for a speaker - I don't want to deal with cutting metal, so I'll stick with a 4" round and adaptor. |
