Looks like the max width I can fit on my 924 is around 215 to 225....

Whats the max width with the Carerra GT flares?

Are there bigger flares that look "smooth" such as the 944 Turbo (wide flares) or anything that accept anything larger?

Reason: 400 whp and she's a coming out in a week or two....

With Carrera GT flares i believe the biggest is 245 possibly 255 max.

400hp Sounds like a monster

I believe so. But the rims are Porsche. So are the brakes

Need more details... are you using the porsche trailing arms with a floating ford rear end or a solid axel.

Well, have the stock body rear. Looking to upgrade body, because right now 215 mm tires (215/45/16) are tight in there. The limitation right now is flare.

What I am wondering is what is the max tire size on the 944? 944 Turbo? 944 S2? Carerra GT?

I'm no suspension specialist but that's one hell of a decision to be left up to "some guy".

Well, this is HiTech Motorsport. They have years experience in performance and the racing scene. I honestly don't remember all the details, and I honestly didn't want to be there to tell them what to do on this. I told them that they know what they are doing, and I may want to add a little seasoning or spice here or there. I've asked for the exhaust to be moderately quiet (don't want to drive a racecar to work) and for it to be comfortable driving down the road as this will be a daily driven summer vehicle. Other then that, they have designed the car to be able to handle both road and track. I'm looking forward to taking it out, although I'll be a little shy for a while with 215 mm tires on the rear.... That is the biggest concern I'm going to have right away

Teething concerns

I know there are some 951 racecars that runs on 255 on all four corners. Probably could go wider....
