Ok maybe you can help with something: Without the NACA duct, how do you cool the engine bay? _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |

All is well is this respect as my car isnt a turbo....though a hole was cut in the bonnet instead of the scoop just sitting there _________________ Red 1977 Porsche 924 CGT...THE MORPH IS COMPLETE |

I'm trying to figure out which way to go with the scoop... have no intention of getting a turbo (not in this car anyway), and the artistic coordinator* isn't a fan of the scoop look... so I might leave it off... dunno.

With the wheels i am putting on my car i was lucky enough to find a guy in brissy who had just bought new simmons for his car and was gettin rid of his old wheels so i got these ones (as seen in pics)
They are a 15inch with a 50 profile and 225 width up front and 245 at rear. They sit really nicely on the car and are probably are about as wide as you could go. (no spacers either) _________________ Red 1977 Porsche 924 CGT...THE MORPH IS COMPLETE |

pocketscience as far as the scoop goes i was a bit skeptical at first but i think with out it fitted they look too much like a regular 944 and not so much a CGT
its up to you at the end of the day (or should i say your wife ) But i say go for it! _________________ Red 1977 Porsche 924 CGT...THE MORPH IS COMPLETE |

Mine's still in storage for a little while yet. I see you didn't use the spoiler from the kit. I'm not even sure how it would fit to a normal (non-spoiler) rear glass actually...
I'm interested to see how the front and rear section fit - a bit of playing with it had me scratching my head...

Yeah i didnt bother with the spoiler either as mine has an original and looks better the bodykit version. Also i didnt bother with the rear bumper....kind looked like more of a bench seat than a bumper to me...not the look i was going for. _________________ Red 1977 Porsche 924 CGT...THE MORPH IS COMPLETE |

I have this same project done a while ago. We bolted and glued with two part epoxy the rears on. Did you cut up the rear body to accommodate wider tires? _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

methinks he did not cut high enough but maybe he did.
What are you doing about the rockers?
I used baseboard heating panels.

Dont say that VINCE! This gives me cause for concern
I think it should be ok as when the guards where fitted as you know they have a crease though the middle that follows the line of the car (if that makes sense)
not too sure about the rockers......Will find out but
i wasnt there the whole time it was fitted as i had work commitments _________________ Red 1977 Porsche 924 CGT...THE MORPH IS COMPLETE |
