Uhhh...
My old white 924s had a totally different VIN number sequence and was listed as a USA/Canada/Japan car.
For my current car, I just typed in my VIN number into the 924.org "VIN Decoder" and it said that my car is a European/ROW model...
It sure looks like a normal US car.
This car is full of surprises... VIN on the option tag is different than the metal tag in the engine compartment - it decodes as a US car.
Tag on the underside of the windshield shows a US car also...never mind...crap! Thought I had a ROW car.

The ZZZ on the strut tower is just with the body, not really the complete VIN - it's those country-specific digits that are filled-in when the car is assembled and assigned a VIN. Since the bare shell is the same US, EU, ROW, etc, it's generic... _________________ Vaughan Scott
