The last race of the year (fun day) on the last lap of the last race I was coming to the start finish line on a green white restart when the cockpit filled with white smoke

When I entered turn 1 the car spun from all the oil I was laying down and caused a big pile up( no damage to my car

). The car was leaving a huge oil spill behind as I drove to the pits and LOTS of white oily smoke. When I finally jacked the car up to see if I had thrown a rod or something I found it only to be a loose oil filter. The car is still leaking some oil when running but I think it might have just blown the seal away from the filter. Lucky break for me. I was sure I needed a new block.

I checked the filter...and it was just the "O" ring that blew out! Sure made a great smoke screen

Nope...just a good oil undercoating.
