Royal Purple has an 80-90w. Does great for my snail, but some folks on the Board prefer dino oil. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I used Swepco 201 before the rebuild, helped a lot with the worn synchros.
There's now multigrade Swepco 210 in there, but haven't driven the car yet.. _________________ 924 parts, http://verkopers.marktplaats.nl/10266983

I think the oil reccomendations are different for the snailshell versus the audi type. In the snailshell I used any decent quality 80/90 and could find no real difference.
In the audi type I have found that Castrol TAF-X works really well and improves the changes.
cheers

| Never used Swepco, but I installed a tranny for BCBlase and he had a jug of it. Very out of this world stuff, blue and stringy. A drip would leave behind a glistening string like a human hair. Hmm |
