Hi all,

the 931's lock buttons (the things that stick up that allow you to lock/unlock the doors from the inside) are there but not connected to anything, where should they connect?? - any pics anyone? - haven't taken a pic of the inside of the door as we were actually there replacing the wingmirror at the time and it started persisting it down, we were fighting to get the bolt in under an umbrella with water pouring down our backs!!

So, back in the dry I was just wondering if anyone had pointers!

Working buttons were an option, IIRC.

But really, the metal rod the buttons are screwed on connect to the flywheel-ish looking thing, I believe, but it's been a year when I was last in there.

This might help you Sean.
Just got my car back from the paintshop and lucky for you the door trim is already off.
This is the right hand door. The rod on the left and the coupling device is for aftermarket remote locking but the rest is as it came.

Lol. My flywheel guess was a little off. More like 'hinge.'
