there is no such thing as a cheap porsche, you either love it and are willing to spend way too much money on it, or you dont. only you can make that decision

Could you refresh my memory on why you call your 924 an "Outlaw"?

But how are you going to beat all the 911's and Mustangs you race every day?

You should get a Honda, it fits your personality much better and they never break down.

In the end Thomas.
Any car you buy and put money into will never pay you back. Unless it is some sort of old super car or race car that will end up being worth millions and millions of dollars. These cars are meant to be loved. I do not drive my 924 every day. I wouldn't unless I need to. But that isn't why I bought it. I bought it to enjoy and that is what I do.

Buy an appliance for the everyday thing and enjoy the Outlaw when the mood strikes.

Just my two cents.

You are right, these things are retardedly expensive to maintain. If it isn't your hobby and passion then you will never be happy. And even if it is never, and I mean NEVER look at the bills.

I just took all of the parts I've been collecting for the past year in to a friend with a shop to put in the car and just looking at the assembled pile of shiny new stuff all I could see were dollar signs. Had to look away lest I get the same feeling you are having and it spoils my 'Yay it will be running soon' feeling.

Ah well, its better than a gambling or blow habit...

Magnus Walker is not the originator of Porsche 'outlaws'. However his 911's are in the theme of a 356/911 Outlaw. Despite my 931 being heavily modified, I still would not give it the 'Outlaw' term.
