Mine's been disconnected by PO.
Theories as to why it was disconnected? Should I test & reconnect it?
TIA

Sure, test and reconnect. It's there to prevent a sudden spike in air:fuel richness and backfiring through the exhaust when the throttle is closed quickly. Worst that can happen with it connected and working is you could avoid those things.
Theory - By eliminating the spike in richness between shifts, they help lower emissions. PO heard it was an "emissions" device and hurriedly disconnected it based on that alone since emissions devices have no place in a thexy thweet little thports car.
-Either that or it's actually broke. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Hmm, I hooked it back up, and the car stopped going POP POP POP between shifts.
PO was a #### genius, apparently. _________________ Toofah King Bad
