What size lines and AN fittings did you use for the fuel lines going to and from the fuel rail/fpr? _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Its -4 lines and fittings from the rail to the FPR and back to the return. -6 Lines from the fuel filter to the rail. The fuel filter and return line needed a little black bosch adapter to join up.
The turbo ive got is standard equipment for a nissan GTR skyline so the compressor trim is 60 and the turbine is 76. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

Well it looks like I will start tuning this weekend. I have had many hassles trying to get my fuel rail to seal properly. I even built a second rail that worked with hose and clamps that was a total failure. In the end I got some holes milled in a length of fuel rail extrusion and that does the job beautifully. On with the pics!
First the fuel rail graveyard:
And now the new unit in place and leak free:
Also managed to create the worlds smallest air filter in order to clear the sway bar:

Also "least restrictive". It's just a stop gap for the moment till I work out how to drop the sway bar a few inches to run a proper air filter. Any other ideas? the damn thing is right in front of the turbo inlet! _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

weird vbelt btw...
I'd find a solution for that air filter... no matter how...
especially because of the turbo... or are they sh*t-resistant? _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

I'll second that. . .looks inside-out.
Could you work on the turbo inlet, maybe cut some off at an angle and attach an elbow there? I'm afraid that piece of foam will get sucked right in! _________________ Toofah King Bad

Perhaps flipping the sway bar upside down and spacing the mounts down a little might get you enough clearance? |
