Hi everyone. I bought a non-running 931 and it is missing the CIS. I just want to get the car running and find out if it has any major problems. Will a non-turbo CIS work with the turbo car? I just wasn't sure if it would supply enough fuel. I've been trying to purchase turbo one, but no luck. I'll be heading to the junkyard tomorrow to see if their car has one. Most likely not a turbo car.

If it won't work, are there any options? If the car didn't have major issues I was considering converting to EFI with MS. Your information is greatly appreciated.

would be a pain in the ass to make it work properly...its worth looking harder for a good CIS...i think someone has one in UK for sale. Or go EFI.

Ya, it would be a plumbing nightmare as they flow air in the opposite direction. Post a wanted ad in the parts section on this board or just decide EFI is your friend.

Yeah, I just went to the junkyard today and saw that they flow in the reverse direction (and that its on the other side of the car). So thats pretty much out of the question.

I don't know if the car runs, or if it has any engine problems. That's why I wanted to get it running first with a cis. After getting it in running condition, I was going to seriously look into EFI.

I have a spare plenum, sensor plate and fuel distributor that I got off EBay. Can't remember exactly what I paid for it (around $50-60). If you can't find one locally, let me know and you can have this one for my cost plus shipping.
