my car has had its ups and downs, and now it might be in for the final judgement..

couple of months ago my front wheel stabilizer bar started making clacking sounds that got worse and worse over time, solution: change it. however the car has been crashed (long time ago, repaired now) and the bodywork is a little bit bent out of shape, could it be that the bent body is causing the stabilizer to break prematurly. in this case i would have to put a new one in every few months.. and the car would not be of much good

Maybe use a better heavy-duty stablizer bar setup instead of junking the frame. Just a thought.

Sway bars never break, they can be bent, but I've never seen one break.

Are you talking about the end links?

Try changing it once....I am sure that will be the end of it for years.
