We had our Welsh 2 day event this last weekend. My car ran well although the racelogic traction control unit I had fitted was out of action due to a damaged rear sensor. Shame as the wet Sat event would have been a good test. The car was a bit lose at the rear but still two class wins was a great weekend.
But thats not the story....
Graham Rose has a 924s, the 2.5 ltr car weighing in at about 930 kilos and with standard power he recorded a time over 2 laps of 100 seconds. To put that into context it was 0.15 better than my best for the weekend and I have about 40bhp more.
It was better than many of the class above his, better than many in the top class. All in it was just about the best lap we have seen in one of these cars.
He's a brilliant driver, smooth, thoughtful etc but...what a car!!...what a car!! makes you glad you kept your own!
Cheers

Great guys , it does seems like the weather played in to the results a bit ,
as a n/a motor in the rain is much easier to pedal that a supercharged one ... The results where great anyway, but pics , pics, pics
