Well I got it running, briefly. Now the leaks and adjustments. I have two specific questions, hopefully you all can help.

1. Is the 89mm nut next to the CO screw, on the CIS air flow meter, the place where one adjusts the level of the flow plate. In the updraft there is a spring underneath to do this, but the downdraft works differently. The BOSCH book I have doesn't speak of this.

2. I have the round turbo tube (to the throttle body) The PET 5 shows a black rubber sealing ring around the outside. This is not the red rubber o-ring inside the tube. Is this necessary and how does it fit on? I bought one but, with it on the throttle body I can't compress the turbo tube far enough to tighten up the bolt that holds the throttle body in place.

Geez, I hope I explained this ok

#1 I don't know off the top of my head. I'm headed for the gym, but can look into it later unless someone else knows..
#2 - yes, it's a bit of a wrestle to get that put back together. I just had mine off and back on the other day. I put the bolt in from the bottom...have the bolt in your left hand and use a phillips screwdriver or whatever in through the top of those bolt holes to lever them to line-up while pushing hard on the turbo tube. Once you have it levered and shoved into position, keep leaning on it while you slip the bolt up from the bottom.

Thanks, helps a lot. I thought I was doing something wrong with that rubber ring.
