Can anyone who is running the type I VW pistons help me find the right size bushings for the wrist pins. Is there an application that the bushings fit normaly, or are the custom machined? My machine shop seems to find it very diffucult to find what I need to complete my engine.
Thanks eveyone, no one has let me down yet.

I had them custom made and it cost about 40$ or something like that. Really cheap and very good quality.
They're 22mm vs 924/931 24mm. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

I can't remember which guy it is to talk to, but give them a ring (they're in Reno). They sell the bushings for ~$8 / each. The JE pistons use the same bushing, which is why they stock them for the 924 rods.
Enjoy!

Thanks Nick. I should have known, EBS has everything for the inside of a Porsche engine. By the way, Do you still have that manifold holding down the basement floor. I still want to try that POR fireseal.
Thanks,
