Anyone know the proper paint code for a 1977 Martini? Mine got repainted Titan white 15 yrs ago and the paint code sticker is gone. I am thinking about repainting it the proper color. It might be GrandPrix white, but I am not sure. _________________ Tim Hancock

According to the 924 book (Brian Long) 1977MY cars were available in Polar White.
From 1978My onwards, Alpine White was available L90E

What do you mean by "1977MY cars", does MY just mean model year?
I have found color charts that show for 1977 three whites: Titan, Polar & Grand Prix which leads me to believe it must be Polar or Grand Prix. Someone on another board is pretty sure he remembers hearing that a '77 Martini at the PCA concours was Grand Prix White. _________________ Tim Hancock

MY is model year.
The source I am referring to is for Euro spec cars, and specific to the 924.
Just found an article in my 911 & Porsche World archive with a Euro Martini and it states Grand Prix white, no code though.
Probably Martini's were painted this shade due to being a limited editionmodel _________________ 1981 931 S2

Thanks AGD!
That makes two people who have voted for Grand Prix white (code= 908).
I think Grand Prix white is the winner! (it will match my GP white 911SC!)
Thanks again! _________________ Tim Hancock
