these gauge faces arent the correct size,I went to zdnet and downloaded a free program (free for thirty days anyway),that will resize and print the GIF. images called GRAPHICS VP DELUX , there are others to choose from
http://www.zdnet.com
at zdnet in the search bar type RESIZE and PRINT IMAGES,then scroll down to downloads section and click more to choose which 1 u want.If you choose graphics vp delux ,after you install it,on top menu bar click images then, find image file, then hi lite GIF at lower left, then find files, then double click the image you want to resize and print, then view at top scroll down to zoom and resize to 150% thats close you can measure you cars gauges to custom zoom to right size, make them a little lager then needed, just in case |

| yeah I wasn't happy with it either,I wanted to play with the colors and write in 924 but it is not a graphics editor, and my paint program cant do gif's. need to look again for a better program, for the same price. |

how come the example gauge cluster page the old 924 cluster is backwards: the speedo is on the left, the tach is in the middle and the fuel is on the right.
my car has the fuel on the left, speedo in middle, and tach at right.
also, the 6th gauge example down on the left. it is yellow..what car does that belong to b/c it redlines at 12,250 rpm!

Easy! The tach is in the middle, where it should be on a racecar. I did this to my car.
The speedo was moved to the left to make the marginally long enough speedo cable reach all the way.
The remaining cluster then moves to the other side.

Absolutely! They just push out from the backside. In fact, you can see how they do so if you have skinny hands and can reach up behind the dash. However, to do the job, you need to remove the steering wheel, turn signal/wiper switches, and pull the gauge pod out of the dash towards you (2 screws hold it in).
I do recommend doing it, since it's easy and really improves the look!

where are these two screws you speak of Vaughan!?
i managed to get the speedo in right side pod. the cable is stretched pretty tight, but i think it's a little easier to see when you need it.

Ok so basically to put white face gauges on my car i'd save the gauges for my car from this website
http://h2ovw.com/html/porsche.html
Convert it to a JPEG file, blow it up to fit the face of the gauge, rip the gauges outa my dash, carefully glue them over the current gauges making sure everything lines up correctly and then reinstalling them into my dash from (left to right)feul and temp, tach, Speedo... and i'm set? How do you put the gauges on without getting in the needles road and what about any water moisture that could damage the ink on the new gauge faces?

| I have not tried to make new faces, it was an idea that seemed easy to do. as for the ink bleeding when wet, test it, print the image, let dry, then soak for awhile and see if the ink runs or bleeds. another thought, most paper will turn yellow and disintergrate over time ,an office supply, or book store should have ACID FREE PAPER .acid free paper is made to last a long time without discoloring, so your family tree , or other important documents will still look good when your grand children get them. you can also get acid free card stock, its thicker its what xmas and birthday cards are printed on. be sure the glue you use will not soften in the heat of the summer sun, or your faces might curl. I've heard that could also happen if you eat a small piece of paper with a drop of acid on it, but that was a long time ago. |

| My car came with the tach in the center...the previous owner kinda broke the speedo cable, so while the dash was dissected, he just switched the tach and speedo....looks great, worx better...makes it easy to see on the track...just a quick glance, and you can see your revs...no need to look around the steering wheel. |
