I happen to have my old head bolts laying around. The thread is M12x1.75, length with the washer in place is 110mm, and length without washer is 114mm (washer is 4mm thick ). Overall length including the head (hex socket head) is 126mm (12mm head length).
Info stamped into the head is "M12 - INBUS 10.9". _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Yeah, I don't have the worksheet yet, but I suspect they will want the depth of the threaded hole in the block. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I noticed you asked for the "bottom diameter" before, now the "length of the bottom thread".. Assuming by length you mean the length of the whole threaded section, my trusty calipers say 33.4mm. -And for the diameter of the first thread I get 11mm (caliper over the rest of the threads shows 11.7mm).
Washer ID is 12.5mm, OD is 23mm, thickness as mentioned before is still 4mm. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Smoothie, thanks. i was close at M12x1.5!! So, 34mm from bottom of bolt to top of bottom thread(if that makessense) leaves (wait, err 6, 5,8&3-2+44=) 80mm for shoulder to the bottom of the head.
Hopefully be back tomorrow with the info. _________________ Front Wheel Drive is the Devil's work. |

Ah, this is an oldy. I ended up going Smoothie-style and cut a notch out of the tops of the studs with a dremmel so that I can just use a flathead screwdriver to twist them in and out. Works like a charm. _________________ 1980 931S

Rasta,
Sorry, been up to my ears in it at work. I have spoken to the Guy's at Arrow, and should have the info/ part number by tomorrow.
One thing i need checking though please. Looking at the details supplied, 1.5 seems to be very fine for a bolt of this size. I would expect it to be 1.75 pitch. Can someone remeasure and confirm this lower pitch size for me. Looking at the Ford items, they all run 1.75 so it seems logical that it should be that.

Absitively someone else measure to confirm, but Steve, I think you're actually the only one that's suggested it might have been a 1.50 pitch, right?

Oops mea culpa. it's me getting my wotsits in a tiswas!! Well that makes it easier. OK, so the pitch is definatley M12x1.75. That is a Ford fitment, so it should be a snap. Spoke to the guy today, but he has not had a chance to check. Promised me a reply tomorrow, however, i'm flying to Johannesburg, South Africa tomorrow evening, so i might miss his mail. Worst case, I'm back Tuesday evening, so hopefully will be able to post the ARP part number then. hold tight chaps

Didn't mean to get you thinking it was some huge rush, Steve. I appreciate your help, and your own schedule is fine by me.
