Had the connecting rods rebushed.

Got them today, rebushed to 22mm for the Mahle pistons.

And it appears to me that 924/931 has piston oil squirters, because those little nozzles aren't looking at the wrist pin, but passing it and directly to the bottom of the piston.



Any thoughts guys?

Funny, I can't remember where but I just read someplace that 931's have squirters. It didn't mention if the 924's did. I don't remeber if mine did or not. Anyone else know?

I remember boardmember special-tool saying that.

But, I checked my other two 924 NA engines that are apart, rods in those have this kind of squirters too.

This is good news: otherwise I thought fabricating squirters on my own, like 20V Turbo Audis have. I glad it's not neccessary
