I have a full sized hvlp devilbiss spray gun close to
200.00 new its a good gun. I also have a cambell housfield
full size hvlp gun cost 25.00 bucks new.. dont use it much
today I picked up this finishing gun from harbor frieght for
16 bucks. Its a beauty.
it worked so good on my rims Im usen it on the body..
makes the paint go along ways guess thats because of
all the over spray you get with a big hvlp gun like the devibiss.
New crafstsman compressor works great also 15 gallon tank
5 hp motor 150 psi. yea works really well.

Hey Joe,
Rumor has it that you have a Bahama Yellow painted house by now.
I had in '69 a new 911 in Bahama Yellow and for those who cannot grasp the color it is the color of the yellow stripes on streets.
One suggestion is to reinforce the front fender flares. If anyone leans on it the bondo will crack. Fiberglass the inside with a couple of strips. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

I have seen at least 6 different NIKOTA paint guns priced between $9.99 and $19.99 in the "Big Lots" stores this past few days while looking for NIKOTA bargains.
There are HVLP gravity feeds for $9.99 (standard model) and $19.99 for the industrial model. Also have finish/touchup priced at $9.99 (standard), and $19.99 conventional). I saw the conventional paint gun with a standard quart sized siphon pickup for $9.99, but ending up buying a NIKOTA industrial rated paint gun yesterday for $19.99. The one I bought is all chrome plated, forged, and polished. I can't wait to spray something with it.
Joe, just how bad is the Campbell-Hausfield paint gun? I chose to take one as settlement in the Air Compressor Class Action Suit. My plan was to use it as a dedicated primer spraying gun, or for other low quality/high volume spraying projects (and get a better gun for high quality jobs). The "free" paint gun has not arrived yet (been waiting since last year), and I came across the NIKOTA deal (now I got the nice paint gun). Still thinking of going back to get the NIKOTA industrial finishing gun for $19.99. |
