Hi everyone I am the new proud owner of a 78'924( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=597024504 )

I have not picked up the car yet, but i do have some questions about it. Does anyone know if 924s came with 4 speeds or 5 speeds in 78? Also do they come with posi rearends? If not, where would be a good place to buy one? I am farmilar with american muscler cars, but not german sports cars, any help would be great! thanks,

You're in luck, this car has an american muscle engine in it.. well sort of...
Is this a 78.5 or a 78? check it out...

the shifter in the picture looks more like my five speed than it does my four speed, but someone could have changed shifters at some point. the rear end of this car isn't like anything that's on a muscle car, except the new corvette. and picking one up basically means getting one off of another 924 or 944. don't worry about posi-trac, the 924 will go through a curve without trying to push you in a straight line.
