HEY Johney, Where in Canada are you from, and I must say you spend as much time working on your car as you do on this forum!
I have a cap,and button but no wires.you can get those anywhere. Are you sure it is the wires? |

| well i called the porsche dealership and the wires are $200 bucks and no cheaper at a parts jobber. so i figured that it is not the wires but the cap and rotor are shot. (the rotor has no metal left on it) so ill try the cheap ones first, if yours are in good shape, and your willing to part with them, let me know, thanks johnny |

Is this the 944 engine? does it have the spark plugs inside of the head, so that you have to get at the spark plugs through the cam cover?
Or are they normal wires near the exhaust or intake manifold?
Why are they so expensive?

| nope. they are regular plugs. that are located right near the intake manifold. other than that i have no idea why they would be so much!!! |

| I can agree with that. I called a couple of places in Colorado for the #2 spark plug wire. One place quoted me $110 for just the one I needed. The other quoted me $800 for the set. Lesson Learned, call Autozone or Pep Boy first. |

Well i got a part at the dealer the other day that wasn't that bad..a shift lever for audi style tranny, 40 bucks plus 15 percent discount...door handles are 70 bucks at dealer tho, i can get them cheaper at positivesale.com
Fuel filters were also cheap at the dealer...although I told them i had a 81 924, because the 931 fuel filter is the same with a different connection. |
