Mr. Ponz has bestowed upon me the honor of posting the line drawings of the infamous Carrera GT for consideration for the above mentioned t-shirt. In a post a few days ago he said this...

"okay guys it is time to get tee shirts made. I think I can get them made cheaply around 10 dollars. No profit just what it costs you pay plus shipping. I have a Gt line drawing that I could use. Under it we could have 924.org. "

This is the drawing that he was refering to...

And this is his most recent message...

"I think that to satisfy all of you I think we should print them on white tees. They will be Russell Athletic shirts. Lets vote on which logo we will use. If you disagree please submit a design with a line drawing.

It must be one design on various size shirts.

If you guys and gals agree I will go ahead and price them out. I will need at least 12 shirts to be ordered. I will proceed with the tee and forward all costs before we make them.

I will keep everyone posted on who ordered and the style we have accepted.

Vince"

When we get some drawings of the car and a few logos make two polls. One each for the Logo and one for the picture. I assume the car will not have colour? And the logo will have "924.org" on it?

I checked my cpu and don't have any drawing {lines} of that car and no Porsche font either, so I will be constructive with ideas from others.

I may be wrong but I thought it was 924.org?Someone will type the "board" into the url and get all confused.Anywho, how about the Porsche crest on the front left breast and the line drawing of the car and "924.org" on the back.Done in white printing on a black or blue shirt? (White gets dirty to fast)jmho.

Using the Porsche crest would just complicate things by needing to get permission to use it.

It should say 924.org, that's the main site even though a lot of guys who use the board don't actually know that.

I think a white shirt would have the advantage that the printing would be a lot cheaper than printing on a dark colour. And besides, you should only wear your 924.org shirt for Sunday best.

great idea!

I'd love to sport good quality 924.org t-shirt.

I'd like a light grey shirt and it would be nice (if possible) to select from each (mainly marketed) model:

a.) 924
b.) 931
c.) 924 Carrrera GT

I know, I know, getting the same line drawing of each model at the same angel - never gonna happen - or maybe?

I prefer the light grey cuz I turn the armpits of white shirts yellow!!

Awwww geeze who let the seamstress in!?

You're probably right about the white shorts getting dirty quickly. As for the 924board.org vs. 924.org issue. This was pretty much put to rest when there was talk about a windshield banner. The "board" was dropped due to a cluttery look. So I think we should have just 924.org

As for adding a crest, are we allowed? And it will raise the price, I wouldn't mind at all but some might not want to spend too much. If everything is lookin' sharp I will buy a few shirts.

As for the picture, colour would be nice but it would agin raise the price and how would we choose a colour everyone would want?! <Imfreakin'possible {unless it's red}.

The problem is I work on my cars sunday. I would prefer a dark color for the shirt light colors don't last long with me.

The last time we bought t-shirts in bulk to print up for my buddies bike shop there was a $1 difference in price between white or a solid colour. As far as the printing media I was not aware that black was cheaper than any other colour. And lastly the Porsche crest,i'm obviously for it,dammit we as a group spend a shitload of money on their cars and products so if I have to get one crappy t-shirt without paying royalty dues i'm not gonna loose any sleep over it.I mean really what could they possibly do?If anyone asks i'll say I bought it in Thailand along with my knock-off Rolex,Oakey sunglasses and the $4 Polo shirts.(Which btw are %100 cotton and almost as good as the real $90 thing.)
