So I got my new Yokohama tires mounted on my 15" spider web wheels

Then I go to take off my old stle mags, and suddenly realize my lug studs are WAY TO SHORT

Porsche dealer wants $20 PER STUD

Anybody have any idea where I can find 16 lug studs? Here's the dimensions I need: 14 mm head x 1.5 mm thread pitch x 70 mm stud length.

I may have a few longer wheel studs laying around.
I gave away a bunch to someone on the forum a while back...
What I have is yours if they are still in the garage, I'll look over the weekend...

Ya know, Pelican has some cool stuff, but finding it on there site can be a pain. I was looking for "lug studs" and "lug bolts" and even "lug nuts" but didn't think to look for "wheel studs"! Thanks smoothie.

If I can't find anything used within a day or so, these are still 1/3rd cheaper than the dealer! It'll just be ironic if I end up spending twice as much on the stupid lug bolts as the wheels themselves

Thx!

Actually I tried to delete that post, but you'd replied already. What I posted are wheel studs that work with lug nuts. You actually need wheel bolts, right?

Have a look at this place -
http://www.ecstuning.com/HR/appguides/app_search.cgi?make=Porsche&qt=studbolt&model=996%2C+996+Turbo%2C+996+GT3%2C+Boxster%2FS&submit=Search%21&thread=Choose+Thread
They have a part #HR141568PORSCHE 68mm M14x1.5 at $3.95 ea. that looks like it could be of use. As long as the 996's use the same ball seat size (where the head of the bolt meets the wheel) and I'm real sure they do)) and as long as you don't mind them being 2mm shorter..

Seems to me if Im thinking correctly you just need longer studs that go into the hub then your using lugnuts if thats so you can just get vw bus studs Im pretty sure though if ....its the other and you need headed bolts
I dont know maybe the same place I can get a bag of steel lugnuts for like 50 cents.
