| I have the dreaded leaking fuel tank in my 924S and need to remove it to replace with a 2nd hand one. How do i get it out? It looks like it wont come out past the gearbox? Any clues? |

Are you sure it's he tank? More common to have thelines leaking. But if it is the tank, the tranny has to come out first AFAIK _________________ Glenn Neff

If what you have is just a crease-crack or hole and not a major rust problem that's caused the leak, you could fix it way easier with an epoxy putty repair. I believe there are specific products available for gas tank repair, but years ago, I used PC-7 to fix a leak at the bottom of the tank on my old Fiat 124 Spyder. -Just have to drain the tank, sand the repair area to bare metal, mix and apply the putty, let it dry. _________________ "..it's made in Germany.
