Well, It looks like I might have recked my Trans on my 87 924S. The differental seals where leaking and I let them go for 2 days. The trans started making a funny pulseing sound and the car jurks back and forth a little. So I replaced the seals and filled the trans back up and took it for a spin. Its still making those sounds and jurks a little but it doesnt leak anymore. Could I have F**K something up in the trans by leting it go for 2 days (there was only about 1 qrt in the trans when I drained it) or is it something else that I should look for. Well, I guess you live, do stupid things and then learn from my mistakes

Dave ... Mine doesnt pulse but it whines and kind lurches around when cruising its kind of hard to shift... down to 1 st wont happen fast but safe rpm 2nd will though I think its kind of weared out
does anyone want to tell me about replacing
the synchros 1 st - 2nd where to get them and if it entails getting into real the guts and ( it does) it doesnt mean messin with the differential does it. I have a replacement and its time soon.... sooo - just dont want to get rid of the 1 st weared out one. bought a 5 spd replacement for 65.00 us just had to .. pull it
