| ok i need some help guys, i am having problems again with my 81 931, it was running good then it sat for a few months and now it does not run good any more?? it will start but sputters and hesitates, then when i give it some gas it wants to die. I cant figure out the problem, it was fine before, and now i cant even drive it??? what do u all think??? |

My guess is fuel system components. You may have let it sit too long without exercising it. Start by ensuring the air-flow sensor plate/arm isn't sticking, and go from there. Time to pull the injectors and check their pattern and throughput. If it will rev up and down as you spray starting fluid (ether) through the metering box as you play with the throttle, it will confirm it's a fuel delivery related issue.
